Lindsay Rohrbaugh, L.Ac., DiplAc, FABAA

Acupuncturist

Lindsay began her acupuncture and integrative health journey in 2019. She graduated Virginia University of Integrative Medicine with a Master's of Science in Acupuncture in March 2022 and became licensed in the state of Maryland. She is also a Diplomate of Acupuncture (DiplAc) after qualifying with the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM) in the U.S. She has also received training and became a Diplomate in Animal Acupuncture, a Fellow of the American Board of Animal Acupuncture, and certified by the state of Maryland in Animal Acupuncture.

Lindsay’s first experience with acupuncture was when she was 18 and experiencing back pain. A friend who was in acupuncture school invited her into the student clinic for a treatment, at which point, she was recovering from bronchitis. Her usual bouts of bronchitis would take several months to completely resolve, but after a few sessions of acupuncture and herbs, the bronchitis had resolved and she has. never suffered with bronchitis since.

Prior to her acupuncture career, Lindsay was a wildlife biologist for Washington, D.C. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland in 2004 and her Master's of Science in Biology in 2008 from Eastern Kentucky University.

In June 2022, Lindsay and her husband moved to the UK. Since that time, she has become a part of the Acupuncture Regulatory Authority (ARA) through membership with the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians (AAC). She has volunteered with World Medicine treating refugees in London and is a member of Acupuncturists Without Borders, an organization who treats those in areas that have been impacted by trauma or disaster.

As an avid rock climber, horseback rider, and overall outdoor enthusiast, Lindsay has a special interest in women’s health, pain, digestion, Chinese dietary therapy, moxibustion, and cosmetic acupuncture.

While loving treating her human patients with acupuncture, she also wanted to continue working with animals. In December 2025, she enrolled in Wold’s Equine Massage and is aiming to complete her diploma in Equine Sports and Rehabilitation Massage in April 2026. In addition to massage, she will offer Low Level Laster Therapy (LLLT), and her holistic knowledge and approach from her Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) background.

Lindsay understands how being able to do the things we love keeps us happy and healthy. She wants to help people and their horses keep progressing at those passions and achieve his or her peaks, be it emotionally or physically, through both acupuncture and other integrative health modalities.
